Dear Member:

Attached is an HR guidance from SEAY MANAGEMENT – SPECIAL COVID-19 BULLETIN. ( Click HERE to download ).   Hopefully, this will give you some insight in what benefits your employees may be entitled to should they not be able to work. There is a lot of unknowns and questions that we are trying to help you sort out.

Below are some helpful ways in which to protect you and your employees. We are hoping that with some common sense and attention to safety we can still provide the essential services needed by our customers while safeguarding our technicians.

To our valued members:

As all of us are thankful to be able to work tomorrow, we wanted to remind you that this is an ever-changing situation, and along with it, legislation can change. If we want to continue working during this crisis, we must follow the rules set out for us. Remember, there are many people who are going to be working from and staying home and all eyes will be on us.

To protect yourselves, your employees and maintain the privilege of being able to work outside during these uncertain times, please make sure you follow all guidelines put out by the Governor of New Jersey and CDC regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19).

As stated by the Governor in Executive Order 107, “When in public, individuals must practice social distancing and stay six feet apart…”

The novel coronavirus (officially called COVID-19) is believed to spread from person-to-person, primarily through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. The virus is also believed to spread by people touching a surface or object and then touching one’s mouth, nose, or possibly the eyes.

Employers and workers should follow these general practices to help prevent exposure to coronavirus:

· Frequently wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

· If soap and running water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand rub that contains at least 60% alcohol.

· Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.

· Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

Employers of workers with potential occupational exposures to coronavirus should follow these practices:

· Assess the hazards to which workers may be exposed.

· Evaluate the risk of exposure.

· Select, implement, and ensure workers use controls to prevent exposure, including physical barriers to control the spread of the virus; social distancing; and appropriate personal protective equipment, hygiene, and cleaning supplies.

Please be safe out there in the coming weeks and do your best to take into consideration the welfare of your employees, vendors, customers and the industry.
